The API Ammonia test kit is an easy & accurate way to monitor ammonia/ammonium levels in both aquaponics systems and aquariums.
The kit includes 2 bottles of reagent, 2 laminated colour cards, test tube and step-by-step instructions for usage.

The Basics of How to Use

1. Fill the glass test tube to the marked 5ml line with water from your system.
2. Add 8 drops of solution bottle 1 to the test tube.
3. Add 8 drops of solution bottle #2 to the test tube.
4. Snap the lid of the tube shut and shake well to mix reagents & sample water.
5. Wait 5 minutes for the colour to develop.
6. Compare sample colour in the test tube to the colour card to determine the ammonia concentration of your system.
